A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDERS - REX AND MIGLE RYAN

We founded Glass Mask Theatre in 2018, to stage new, immersive plays in our boutique venue. We believe new theatre is the lifeblood of our society and a force of joy and change. This belief is central to Glass Mask's ethos, and as a company we hope to showcase and creatively foster a wide array of Irish theatrical talent, welcoming collaboration between people of all persuasions. Since establishing our permanent venue at number 41 Dawson Street, in the Bestseller Cafe, we have proudly debuted of number of new Irish plays and international premiers from both emerging and established playwrights. Going forward, we are committed to being a highly productive member of Dublin's rich theatrical scene, staging plays that speak to the NOW. Glass Mask is a place to step into the heart of the action, be immersed in a new theatrical experience, and leave our building changed.
