GLASS MASK THEATRE SCHOOL 2024

Glass Mask Theatre - Dublin’s Theatre company of the year 2021 and one of Irelands most prolific producers of new work are energised to announce the first term of the Glass Mask Technique part time Acting Course. This is a course that runs eight weeks and is facilitated by working members of the Glass Mask Ensemble. The programme is treated as rehearsals are for our professional productions in GMT. We will take the Actors from analysing a script, early preparation, table work, floor work and finally a full performance of scenes for an audience in our Pearse Street rehearsal Theatre.

This is an opportunity to hone your skills with some of the best theatre Actors and Directors working in Ireland today. It is an opportunity to dive into the GMT technique established by Rex Ryan borne from his time working in new writing theatres all over the world and directing several critically and audience acclaimed productions of new plays in the Glass Mask Theatre.

THE GLASS MASK TECHNIQUE

Venue: 27 Pearse Street.

When: Monday June 3, 10, 17, 24, Monday July 1, 8, 15, 22. 8 Sessions in total.

Programme: Monday evenings, 7-10pm, culminating in a final performance.

Price: 650euro all inclusive
