Glass Mask Theatre supports new writers and creates plays that speak to our audience of the NOW. The playground festival is our annual celebration of writers who are attempting to speak to Ireland in the most immediate way they know how. I allow this festival to be risky and messy and open-hearted as it is the only way to test the playwrights’ craft. To have a conversation with our audience is to meet them on the stage with no barrier, and this is exactly what Playground is about. Come and join our festival of rehearsed readings from new works and become a friend of our new writers and the GMT.
